We also factor in your immune system status, and personal data preferences. We will of course discuss medical insurance coverage prior to the start of any treatment.

Comprehensive Support Throughout Your Journey

From first consultation to follow-up appointments, we guide you with professionalism and warmth. We coordinate your care with any additional specialists and provide easy-to-understand explanations throughout.

Transparent Pricing and Insurance Options

We offer clear information on treatment prices, accepted medical insurance, and private skin cancer treatment cost in the UK. Our administrative team can help you check cover with your insurer and explain options clearly.

Early Signs of Skin Cancer to Watch For

Common Symptoms of BCC, SCC, and Melanoma

Skin cancer often starts subtly. Warning signs may include:

  • A slow-growing lump or sore that won’t heal

  • A patch of skin that bleeds, crusts, or changes appearance

  • Changes to moles or areas of skin with irregular borders

  • New cases of scaly patches (close to or at the sites of actinic keratoses)

  • Raised, firm spots on sun-exposed areas

Why Early Detection Matters

Early stage detection dramatically improves outcomes, especially for aggressive types such as Nodular Melanoma or Acral lentiginous melanoma. Identifying cancerous cells before they reach deeper layers or the surrounding area allows for simpler, more effective treatment options.

Private Skin Cancer Treatment Options

Diagnostic Procedures

  • Clinical assessment by a Consultant Dermatologist

  • Dermatoscopy and photography of suspicious lesions

  • Minor Surgery for biopsy or excision

  • Blood Tests and imaging (e.g. to assess nearby lymph nodes)

Treatment Modalities

  • Surgical treatments under local anaesthetic (e.g. excision, curettage)

  • Mohs micrographic surgery for precision removal and minimal scarring

  • Targeted therapies, like vismodegib, can be used to treat advanced basal cell carcinoma

Advanced Treatment Techniques

We collaborate with dermatology, oncology, and Plastic Surgery teams to deliver the most advanced and appropriate treatments, including:

  • Mohs surgery for high-risk areas such as the nose, ears, or eyelids

Post-Treatment Care and Follow-Up

After your procedure, you’ll receive clear instructions and written follow-up guidance. Most treatments happen in hospital or outpatient settings, and we always plan follow-up appointments to monitor healing, check for recurrence, and provide further treatment if needed.

We also support patient care by sharing the latest news, encouraging skin checks, and working closely with your healthcare professional.
